“going to” gelcek zamanda yapacağınız daha önceden planlanmış olaylar için kullanılır. Pikniğe gitmeyi planladığınıda;
“We are going to go the picnic.” dersiniz.
Örnek cümleler;
- I am going to go school for my diploma. (for=için, my=benim) =diplomam için okula gideceğim.
- Are you going to watch it? = onu izleyecek misin?
- He is going to fall into hole! = çukara düşecek!
- She is going to travel round the world. = dünyayı dolaşacak.
- It’s going to rain. = yağmur yağacak.
- We are going to stroll. = biz gezineceğiz.
- Are they going to come to party= partiye gelcekler mi?
- NOT: “going to” tahminler içinde kullanılabilir. Gökyüzünde siyah bulutlar varsa ve yağmur yağacaksa “It’s going to rain.” dersiniz, ama bulut yok sadece öyle hissediyorsanız “It will rain.” dersiniz.
